The Fun Part

There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to – after all, human beings weren’t designed to do that – but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realise how easy scuba diving really is.

The biggest challenge instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is not coaxing participants into the water, but coaxing them out when the program is over.

The fun part? It’s all fun!

Decide you like it?

If you have some more time in your holiday then you can continue with an Open Water Diver Course and you can get credit!!

Since your Discover Scuba Diving program includes an actual scuba dive in open water, your experience may count toward PADI Open Water Diver certification.

“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. The course develops your knowledge and skills so that you will become a complete diver – someone who can look after themselves as well as others in the water by effectively performing diver assists and rescues, managing diving accident situations and giving first aid.

The course is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver, and we think that every diver should get to the level of Rescue Diver as it makes you completely self-sufficient in terms of rescuing yourself and others.

  • Why do the eLearning option? The Rescue Course will still take 3days so why do the eLearning option?

The main reason is to maximise your dives whilst you are here. Since you do not need to do the theory whilst you are here you you can do more fun dives – one popular option is to do fun dives in the mornings and the Rescue Course in the afternoon!

Doing EFR as well? If you need to do EFR then the Rescue & EFR can still take 3days.

The fun part of the PADI Wreck Diver course is visiting wrecks, unlocking mysteries and starting to gain the knowledge and experience that allows you to see things that others overlook. Sometimes, only the trained, experienced eye recognizes that a small hole or open door likely caused the vessel’s demise. PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY

The Peak Performance Buoyancy course consists of two open water training dives, and is a great opportunity to polish buoyancy control. What is neutral buoyancy? It can be a tricky thing. Divers who’ve mastered the highest performance levels in buoyancy stand apart. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover, almost as if by thought. They interact gently with aquatic life and affect their surroundings minimally. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course refines the basic skills you learned as a PADI Open Water Diver and elevates them to the next level.

The Fun Part
Gaining better understanding and skills to be able to control your buoyancy to a level and with such precision you may not have thought possible. We make this a bit more fun by setting up an underwater obstacle course for you to practice the above techniques, and we will guarantee that the course will dramatically improve your time underwater.

What You Will Learn

  • How to trim (position and distribute) your scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water
  • Subtle differences in determining weight so you’re not too light nor too heavy by even a slight degree
  • How to streamline to save air and move smoothly through the water
  • How to hover effortlessly in both vertical and horizontal position
  • Visualisation techniques and achieving neutral buoyancy

speciality diving courses

ENRICHED AIR (NITROX)

The Enriched Air course consists of two open water training dives, two practical applications and some theory. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

The Fun Part
You can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty.

What You Will Learn

  • Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox, by using and applying the benefits of enriched air for recreational diving
  • Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations
  • Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what’s in your scuba tank (analyzing) and how to set your dive computer (if you have one)
  • Planning and making no decompression dives using primarily enriched air nitrox blends containing 22 to 40 percent oxygen, remaining within accepted dive table and oxygen exposure limits
  • Going through the process of obtaining enriched air from a blending facility, and getting a direct overview of how operations blend enriched air nitrox
  • Managing and avoiding possible enriched air hazards
