Diving Day Trips from Sanur: Nusa Penida, Tulamben Wreck & More

Two Fish Divers Sanur is an award winning PADI 5 Star Center located in Sanur, Bali, and we organise daily dive trips, PADI courses and snorkeling trips to Bali’s best sites including:

  • the world-famous Tulamben ship-wreck,
  • the mixed reef/muck/pelagic dive sites of Padang Bai/Candidasa,
  • the iconic manta’s & mola’s of Nusa Penida/ Nusa Lembongan,
  • and the shipwrecks, corals & critters of Amed.

We provide a personal service by using private cars and not big buses for all our pickups. We can pick you up at your hotel in Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak or Legian for no extra cost, or for a small charge if you are located outside these areas.

Common questions about diving from Sanur

Sanur is a day-trip gateway to Bali's best sites. We run trips to Nusa Penida (manta rays year-round, mola mola in season), Tulamben (the USAT Liberty wreck), Padang Bai (reef and sharks), Amed (black sand and macro), and Candidasa (current-swept channels). Hotel pickup is included.
Yes — free hotel pickup and drop-off comes with all day trips and courses across Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak and Legian. Give us your hotel name when you book. Pickup is usually around 7:00–7:30am depending on the destination.
For most divers it's Nusa Penida or Tulamben. Choose Nusa Penida for big-animal encounters like manta rays, or Tulamben for the Liberty wreck. Tell us your experience and interests and we'll recommend.
Yes. We run Discover Scuba Diving and full PADI courses from Sanur daily, with hotel pickup included. We have a pool at our centre for your confined water training, and your open water training dives happen on real reefs at Padang Bai or Nusa Penida.
Yes — Sanur is our professional training base. Our Course Director runs the full programme here, from Divemaster training through the IDC and Instructor Examination preparation, with access to diverse Bali dive sites and proximity to the airport.
Honestly, it depends on your time. With one to three diving days during a South Bali holiday, Sanur day trips are ideal. There are many things to do in Bali and many of our customers base themselves in a hotel in Sanur/Kuta/Seminyak and use it as a hub for other non-diving trips such as cultural trips, or just chilling on the beach. These hotels are in busy tourist areas and are not for everyone, and basing yourself at diving Nusa Penida or diving Amed can give you more dives, earlier starts and better value.
On Nusa Penida day trips, non-divers can snorkel from the same boat at the same sites. At Tulamben, the Liberty wreck is visible from the surface while snorkelling. Ask us about snorkelling for your specific trip.
