PADI DIVEMASTER INTERNSHIP IN SINGLE LOCATION OR MULTI-LOCATION
We offer DM internships starting at 4weeks, and this can be extended depending on the amount of time you have for your trip, the amount of dives you already have and your current certification level.

Included in all packages:
- Unlimited fun diving during your internship;
- Two Fish Divers dive log book & t-shirt;
- return transfer from airport to dive centre, and between dive centres for multi-location.
Excluded:
- PADI Digital Crewpak and Divemaster Slate Pack (mandatory) – IDR 4,500,000;
- DM Application Fee to PADI – 270 AUD;
- Accommodation – available for all budgets from IDR 350,000 to IDR 750,000/nt. Note however that the price will vary from location to location, the length of time (1month is cheaper than 2weeks), as well as whether its low or high season;
- SMB, compass, whistle and dive knife – personal ownership is mandatory for the PADI Divemaster course, price on request;
- Diving insurance – if you don’t have insurance then we can provide this and you can sign up on arrival. Find out more about our dive insurance;
- Speciality options: add on specialities like Deep Diving and Nitrox to give you more experience. If you are interested in conservation then you can add our 5-pack of Eco Specialities that includes specialities such as Coral Reef Conservation and Shark Conservation. Price on request.
Options after:
 Diving Discount – immediately after your course you could do some fun diving at some of our other locations with generous discounts of up to 20%.
 Course Discount – 10% discount on the price of our IDC, that’s a saving of more than IDR2,000,000!

Divemaster Internship Overview
The PADI Divemaster course is your first step towards a professional scuba career. It can actually be taught over 2weeks but this is with very limited practical experience, and you will not be sufficiently be prepared to work as a PADI Divemaster.
We prefer to run the PADI Divemaster course as an internship over a minimum of 4weeks, during this time you will work closely with our team of experienced PADI Instructors assisting with student divers and developing your leadership abilities.
You will see how it feels to work as a PADI Divemaster in a busy dive resort through meeting our guests, novice and seasoned divers, helping our staff guide certified divers, and assisting our Instructors with training courses. Your Divemaster duties can also include pool demo’s, sales, planning & conducting dive excursions, and of course plenty of diving!
You will cover all aspects of being a dive pro from understanding the theory of being a Divemaster, to using a SMB and mapping a dive site. On completion you will be ready and prepared to lead others into the water, confident in the knowledge that you are able to safely deal with any situation.
Some Common Questions
Prerequisites:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a current medical attesting to your diving fitness signed by a physician within the previous 12 months
- Be a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue, or hold qualifying certifications from another dive training organization.
- Be able to prove that you have completed at least 40 dives (60 before being able to complete the Divemaster course with experience of deep dives, night dives and underwater navigation). If you still have dives to do then why not take our 6-week option with extra fun dives or PADI Specialities to get you to the 40 dives.
- Have a valid dive insurance when you start the course. During the course you will be diving a lot and its mandatory to have insurance cover, if you don’t have insurance then we also can provide you with dive insurance on arrival;
- Complete the PADI medical statement, you can download this here.
- Must have completed an Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care course, or other sanctioned First Aid and CPR course, within the past 24 months. (If you haven’t taken a CPR and First Aid course within the last 24 months you can take PADI Emergency First Response here before your Divemaster).
If you do not have the required Advanced or Rescue certificates then we can run these before your 4week Divemaster Intership starts. You can even do this in one of other locations other than where your Divemaster Internship will be, a great way to get more fantastic diving!!
If you do not have the required If you do not have the required 40 dives to start the DM course then we can offer you a special price for some fun dives to get you to the 40 dives before your DM starts!
If you are a total beginner, you can take our 10 week Zero-to-Hero program. You can do this at a single location or over multiple locations, and if you do not have the time you can split this over 2 or 3 stays with us.
Fully Inclusive Zero-to-Hero Internship 10 weeks – from IDR59,425,0001
This internship is aimed at those with little to no experience in scuba diving who want live their dream and become a PADI Divemaster so that they can earn income, explore the world and dive in some unbelievable places.
The Zero-to-Hero Internship does this by taking you from a complete beginner to the PADI Divemaster Level over 10weeks and includes Open Water Course, Advanced course, Rescue & EFR courses, 5 x PADI Specialties (Nitrox, Deep, Wreck, Night, Search and Recovery), the Master Scuba Diver certification, the PADI Divemaster certification, transfers, equipment rental, and UNLIMITED fun-diving.
2 WEEKS IN EACH LOCATION (ANY FLIGHTS ARE EXTRA)
